Born
and raised at
the Jersey
Shore, I've
been a
photographer
for as long as
I can
remember. No,
I wasn't
getting hired
to do my
kindergarten
classmates'
headshots, but
I was taking
photos of many
ordinary
objects and
messing with
cameras at a
really young
age. I've
always been
fascinated by
both the art
and science
behind
photography,
being equally
comfortable
discussing,
say, the mood
on a subject's
face, as well
as the optical
principles of
lens
apertures. And
I still feel a
childlike
excitement
when I see a
great photo I
created for
the first time
on a screen or
in a print. Now I live near Baltimore, Maryland, and have had the great privilege of shooting for theatre venues like Peabody Opera, Opera Vivente, The Cabaret at Germano's, and Opera AACC. Also, in addition to shooting headshots and weddings, I've done dozens of news photography and videography projects for Patch.com, and some independent projects. My philosophy for photography is simple: To create beautiful images for people that are simultaneously memorable and exciting. I strive to make shoots fun for clients, which causes them to be relaxed and comfortable, and lets me capture their true selves. |
